Worker electrocuted

A construction worker was electrocuted at Delduar upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Nuruzzaman Nuru, 40, of Suruj Taratia village in Sadar upazila.

Witnesses said Nuru came in contact with a live electric wire of Rural Electrification Board (REB) around 1:30pm when he was working on the second floor of an under-construction building at Delduar Bazar. He died instantly, they added.
