US embassy to be closed on Thursday for Veterans Day

The US Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on Thursday on the occasion of Veterans Day, an American holiday.

Apart from this, the consular section of the embassy and the American Center with the Archer K. Blood American Center Library and the Education USA Student Advising Center will be closed to mark the day.

Besides, the emergency services for American citizens will be available.  And they have been asked to call 5566-2000 for the duty officer, said a press release of the embassy.
