Two kids drown in pond

Two kids drowned in a pond at Muktarbosti village in Ranishankoil upazila of the district on Sunday.

The victims are Raju, 8, son of Rafiqul Islam, and Merina Begum, 8, daughter of Meher Ali of the village.

Locals said Raju and Merina along with two other children went to take bath in the pond near their home and drowned in the afternoon.
