Three kids of a family drown in pond

Three kids of a family drowned in a pond in Bhuapur upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased are Moriom, 4, daughter of Rohiz Uddin of Bilchapra village, and Rohiz's elder brother Motaleb Hossain's daughters Sadia, 4, and Atia, 3.

Locals and family sources said the three fell into the pond near their house while playing on its bank and drowned in the afternoon.

Later, locals recovered the bodies from the pond.
