Three arrested with drugs

Armed Police Battalion-2 arrested three people, including a woman, and seized drugs from their possession in two separate drives in Muktagachha upazila early yesterday.The arrestees are Abul Hossain, 58, his wife Momtaz Begum, 56, of Mirzapur village; and Md Abdul Matin, 58, of Sankipara area of Sadar upazila. They were arrested in separate drives conducted at Mirzapur and Jailgate area of Mymensingh town," said Md Kayum, inspector of the battalion. Around 60 grams of heroin and 469 ampoules of pethidine injections were seized from their possession, said the inspector.
