Teacher dies from burn wounds

An assistant teacher of Freed Matrichhaya Autistic Shishu Niketan in the district town, who sustained severe burn injuries due to fire originated from a leakage of gas cylinder on June 3, died at a hospital in Dhaka on Sunday night. The victim is Akhtari Begum, 47, wife of Abdul Kuddus of Islamnagar in the town. Family Sources said Akhtari sustained severe burn injuries at her house due to leakage of gas from a gas cylinder.
