Serve people with love so that your children are proud of police parents: IGP
Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed asked the force members to serve people with love and dedication so that children feel proud of their police parents.
"We have to work in the police with love, bring pride to the job so that our children can proudly say that my father/mother is a police personnel," he said.
"You have to make a difference for the country, society and for your families," he said while speaking before 3,000 police members at Rajshahi District Police Lines this afternoon.
"People come to police whenever they are in danger," the police chief said and questioned, "Who gives you the license to misbehave with them?"
He asked the SPs to act as changemakers and all police members as agents of change in their respective areas.
Benazir reiterated that the force will not accommodate those involved in corruption and drugs.
