Road accident leaves 2 dead in Moulvibazar

Two people were killed today and another one was injured when a bus hit the motorbike the victims were on at Mathiura Tea Garden area in Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar.

The deceased were identified as Sujon Karmakar (22) and Rajan Roy (23) sons of Ranjit Roy. Both of them hailed from Rajnagar, reports our Moulvibazar correspondent quoting Rajnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abul Hasim.

"A passenger bus of Mitali Paribahan hit the motorbike from the opposite side killing one on the spot. The other person died at the 250-bed Moulvibazar Hospital," said the OC.

"Police have arrested the bus driver Johnny," he added.
