Priyabhashini recognised as freedom fighter

Noted sculptor Ferdousi Priyabhashini, who was persecuted by Pakistani occupation army and its local collaborators during the Liberation War, has been awarded the freedom fighter status.

The Liberation War Affairs Ministry published a gazette notification in this regard today.

She along with 123 other women were awarded the honour.
