PM reaches Washington

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after wrapping her busy five-day schedule in New York reached Washington yesterday evening by road.

PM's press secretary Ehsanul Karim told BSS that at the weekend the prime minister will stay in Washington for two days before leaving for home on September 25.

The prime minister will arrive in Dhaka in the afternoon on September 26 via Dubai.

Before leaving New York for Washington yesterday the prime minister held a press conference at Bangladesh Permanent Mission office to inform local press about the outcome of her visit.

Later, she also gave an interview with Voice of America.
