Outlaw held with gun

Police arrested an underground operative along with a shooter gun and two bullets from Bohuladanga village under Pangsha upazila on Sunday night.

The arrestee is Ketai, 29, a member of outlawed 'Bipul Bahini', and son of Tiger Ayub of the village.

Hafizur Rahman, sub-inspector of Pangsha Police Station, said law enforcers, acting on a tip-off, conducted a drive at the village and arrested the outlaw.

On the basis of his statement, police conducted another drive at a banana orchard of one Ali Master of Dakkhin Para village in the upazila yesterday morning and recovered the gun and two bullets, which were kept in a plastic bag.
