One electrocuted

A battery-run van driver was electrocuted in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur early yesterday. The deceased is Motiur Rahman, 36, son of Siraj Uddin of Choita village. Locals said Motiur was electrocuted when he was unplugging the wire after full charge of his battery-run van around 11:00am. He was rushed to the upazila health complex where he died later, said Enanul Haque, chairman of Chandipur Union Parishad.
