Mother, girl crushed under train

A woman and her 15-year-old daughter were crushed under the wheels of a train in Phulbari upazila of the district on Tuesday. They were Sarswati Rani Roy, 45, wife of Nibash Chandra Roy, and their daughter ninth grader Falguni Rani Roy, 15, of Razarampur Masuapara village. On information, law enforcers recovered the bodies from the rail track at Rambhadrapur village at night, said Anisur Rahman, sub-inspector of Phulbari Police Station.
