Mitu murder: Babul’s father in-law quizzed

Investigators quizzed the father in-law of former police superintendent Babul Akter in connection with the killing of Babul's wife in Chittagong city on June 5.

Investigation officer Kamruzzaman, also additional deputy commissioner (south) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, interrogated Mosharraf Hossain for four hours since 10:30am, our local correspondent reports.

Earlier, Babul Akter, husband of slain Mitu, was quizzed by the investigation officer on December 15.

Three assailants stabbed and shot Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, 30, dead when she was taking her son to his school bus stop at GEC intersection in the port city on June 5.
