Man strangled

Police recovered the body of a young man from Kathgora Bridge area in Chatmohar upazila of the district yesterday morning. The deceased is Md Mithu Hossain, 25, son of Hazi Abul Kashem of Chalk-Chatiyani village in Sadar upazila. Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar Police Station Md Mizanur Rahman said locals found the body in the area around 10:00am and informed the police. The body was sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Criminals might have strangled the youth and dumped the body in the area, said the OC.
