Man killed over family feud

A man was killed allegedly by his cousin at Paikpara village in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Mushaid Ali, 45, cousin of Joban Khan of the village. Police said Joban Khan and Mushaid locked in an altercation when Mushaid tried to stop Joban from felling a tree. At one stage, Joban hit Mushaid on the head with an iron rod.  Mushaid died while he was being taken to Chunarughat Health Complex around 6:00pm. Joban went into hiding soon after the incident, said police.
