Man held for defamatory remarks on President, PM

Police arrested a young man for posting defamatory remarks on Facebook about President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The arrestee is Abdul Kader (29). He was arrested from Madina Market area of Jalalabad on Monday night, officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station Wakil Uddin said. 

A case was filed against him under the Digital Security Act with the police station yesterday.
