Man drowns in river

An elderly man drowned in a river at Kalabagan of the district town on Friday. The deceased was identified as Dulal Mandol, 70, a resident of the area. Police said Mandol slipped into the river near his house when he went to have a bath around 2:00pm. Later, family members found him floating in the river.
