Man dies in boat capsize

A fisherman died as a boat capsized in the River Sandha at Alankerkathi village in Nesarabad upazila of the district. The deceased is Delwar Hossain Gharami, 45, son of Fazar Ali Gharami of Kuniary village in the upazila. Locals said Delwar along with his son and another fisherman on Saturday night went to the river to catch fish by a boat. Their boat sank in the river during a storm. Delwar went missing. However, two others managed to swim ashore. Yesterday morning, family members recovered the body from the river.
