Major (retd) Sinha killing: Nandadulal giving confessional statement at Cox’s Bazar court
Nandadulal Rakshit, an accused in Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case, was giving his confessional statement before a Cox's Bazar court this morning.
Judge Tamanna Farah of Senior Judicial Magistrate Court-4 in Cox's Bazar started recording the statement under section 164 of code of criminal procedure around 10:00am, according to court sources.
Nandadulal, former sub-inspector of Baharchhara Police Investigation Centre, was taken before the court earlier in the morning.
Suspended inspector Liaqat Ali, another accused in Major (retd) Sinha murder case, gave his confessional statement before the same court yesterday.
Earlier, three other accused -- Armed Police Battalion (APBn) assistant sub-inspector Shahjahan, constables Sajib and Md Abdullah -- gave their confessional statements in the case.
