Lorry driver held with phensidyl

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a tank lorry driver and his assistant along with 588 bottles of Indian phensidyl in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila yesterday. The arrestees, Al-Amin, 25, and his assistant Aslam Hossain, 24, are residents of Fatullah area in Narayanganj. Inspector Hamidur Rashid of Chapainawabganj DB Police said, being tipped-off, a police team intercepted an empty lorry in Fielderhat area around 8:00am, seized the contraband drugs from the vehicle and arrested the duo.
