Liquor kills one in Dinajpur

A man died after taking spurious liquor in Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.

The dead is Hilariw Mardi, 40, son of Sarkar Mardi of Jopeya village in the upazila.

Family sources said Hilariw took liquor around 10:00pm and fell sick after half an hour.

He was rushed to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where he died later, said ATM Khalequzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
