Lightning kills 3

Three labourers were killed by lightning at Maghdail in Maheshkhali upazila of the district yesterday. Of the deceased, two were identified as Habibullah, 40, and Kapil Uddin, 32. Enamul Haque Ruhul, chairman of Matarbari Union Parishad, said a thunderbolt struck the three when they were working at a salt field in the area. They died on the spot.
