Two day labourers died and one injured in a landslide that took place when they were digging at the base of a hill in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj this morning.
The dead were identified as Shamsul Haq, 35 and Mashuk Mia, 40, our Moulvibazar correspondent reports quoting police.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. They were digging at the base of a hill in Shankarshena village around 7:00am when the landslide occurred, said Abdul Baten, officer-in-charge of Nabiganj Police Station.
The injured, whose name could not be known primarily, was being treated at Habiganj Sadar Hospital.
