Kid electrocuted in Jessore

A seven-year-old girl died from electrocution at Kachua village in Jessore Sadar upazila on Sunday night. The deceased, Sumona Khatun, daughter of Mosharraf Hossain of the village, was a Class I student. OC Ilias Hossain of Kotwali Police Station said Sumona came in contact with a snapped live electric wire besied her house around 10:30pm. Family members took her to Jessore Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
