Kid drowns in pond

A one-and-a-half-year old boy drowned in a pond in Mathbaria upazila yesterday. The deceased was Mahim, son of Asad Mia of Lakkhona village. Locals said Mahim fell into the pond near their house while playing on its bank and drowned.
