Joypurhat diagnostic lab gutted

A fire gutted medical equipments at a diagnostic lab in Joypurhat town early yesterday. Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at Graduate Diagnostic Centre in Amtoli area of the district town around 3:30am. Ataur Rahman, director of the lab, claimed the extent of losses caused by the fire could go up to Tk 70 lakh.
