Jamaat leader arrested

Police arrested a local Jamaat leader at Baneshwar in Puthia upazila on Tuesday.

The arrestee is Mostafa Jalal, ameer of the district unit of Jamaat.

He was arrested on charge of carrying out subversive activities in the area, said police.
