Indian trawler capsize: 5 bodies recovered in Sundarbans

Coast Guard and Navy today recovered the bodies of five fishermen, a day after an Indian fishing trawler capsized in the Bay of Bengal near Hiron point of the Sundarbans.

Navy sources said the fishing trawler "FV Moha Gouri" along with 17 fishermen capsized in the Bay of Bengal, 30 nautical miles far from Hiron point of Mongla port yesterday afternoon.

On information, members of Coast Guard and Navy started rescue operation and retrieved the bodies of five fishermen this morning.

They also rescued two fishermen while ten fishermen are still missing.
