Indian medicines seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized smuggled Indian medicines from bordering Monakasha village in Shibganj upazila of the district yesterday.

BGB sources said, being tipped-off, a patrol team of the BGB from the border observation post (BoP) raided the village around 8:30am and seized the medicines.

BGB later handed the seized medicines over to customs authority.
