Housewife found dead in Khagrachhari

Police recovered the body of a housewife from Rubber Bagan area beside ​​Dighinala-Khagrachhari road in Khagrachhari this morning, seven days after she went missing.

The deceased was identified as Priti Rani Tripura, 25, wife of Hari Shankar Tripura of Champaghat area of ​​Sadar upazila. They have a son.

Police recovered the body from a bush after receiving information from local people, said Md Abdur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Khagrachhari Police Station.

The body was sent to Khagrachhari District Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Priti Rani Tripura went missing on September 16. The victim's husband filed a murder case against unidentified persons with Khagrachhari Sadar Police Station, he added.
