Govt mulls law to confiscate war criminals’ properties: Anisul

The government will formulate a law to confiscate the properties of war criminals as they had not accumulated the properties in a fair way, Law Minister Anisul Huq said today.

The properties of war criminals will be confiscated for using them for the welfare of the country, he said while inaugurating registration complex at Tejgaon in Dhaka under the inspector general of registration department.

The law minister said Jamaat-e-Islami and its collaborators will be tried for committing war crimes and the verdict of their trial will be executed in accordance with the law.
