Govt to buy Aman rice at Tk 33

The government will procure three lakh tonnes of Aman rice at Tk 33 per kilogramme from December 1.

The purchase of Aman rice from local market will continue until March 15, Food Minister Qamrul Islam told journalists after a meeting of the food planning and monitoring committee at the Secretariat in Dhaka.
