Gloomy weather due to land depression

People in Dhaka and most other parts of the country started their day today amid fog and rain due to a land depression.
Dhaka dwellers have experienced light shower with recurrent thunder strikes when this report was filed at 11:13am.
The Met office in Dhaka told The Daily Star Online in the morning that the land depression is likely to be cleared by tomorrow.
A low pressure area has formed over Northeast Myanmar and adjoining Northeast India, according to its last weather forecast on Saturday.

As per the last updated weather forecast by the meteorology department light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over  the country.
