Fire at Prime Bank

A fire broke out at Prime Bank Ltd in the town early yesterday, burning computers, important files and furniture. The bank was at a building adjacent to Dinajpur Fire Service and Civil Defence. Nur Islam, assistant director of Dinajpur Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the sentries found fire on the second floor of the building. Immediately, the firefighters informed the bank officials about the incident. As the bank officials arrived there after half an hour, the firefighters rapidly went to the spot and doused the blaze around 3:00am. Bank officials blocked journalists and declined to provide any information.
