Fire kills boy

A seven-year-old boy was killed in a fire incident in Kaharol upazila of the district on Sunday evening. The victim is Md Ramon, son of Anisur Rahman of Pouria village in the upazila. AKM Faruk Hossain, chairman of Mukundapur Union Parishad, said Rimon sustained severe burnt injuries as a fire broke out at their house from the kitchen. He later died on way to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, said Mansur Ali, officer-in-charge of Kaharol Police Station.
