Fire guts 2 shops

At least two shops were gutted in a fire at Tushkhali Bazar in Mathbaria upazila of the district yesterday. Locals said the fire originated from a shop, owned by on Tareq Jamaddar and soon engulfed another adjacent shop of the bazar around 9:30am. Mohammad Alam, a member of the fire fighting units, said the fire might have originated from a cellphone charger blast.
