Fire at Dhaka restaurant

A fire broke out at Tarka restaurant in Banani area of Dhaka this evening.

Six units of firefighters doused the fire around half an hour after it was originated at the ground floor of a three-storey building around 6:10pm, said Mahmudul Haque, inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Biplob Dewan, supervisor of the restaurant, said the fire originated from gas cylinder connected to the kitchen from outside.

None was hurt in the incident.
