Farmer electrocuted

A farmer was electrocuted at Parmuthorapur village in Harinakundo upazila of the district yesterday. The dead is Mizanur Rahman, 23, son of Basir Uddin of the village. Family members said, around 01:30pm on Thursday, Mijanur went to the field of Parmuthorapur village for irrigation. At the time he came in contact with live wire lying on the ground and died on the spot.
