Farmer dies of heatstroke

A farmer died of heatstroke in Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Abu Hossain, 30, son of Kasir Uddin of Malancha village in the upazila. Witnesses said when Abu along with other farmers was harvesting the paddy at his village, he suddenly fell. He later died at the upazila health complex. Doctors said he died from heatstroke.
