Farm labourer found dead

The body of a 45-year-old man was recovered from an empty field in Islampur upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased, Rahim Badsha, son of late Basil Uddin of Porarchar Sardarpara village in the upazila, was a farm labourer.

Police said like the other days, Badsha, also father of eight children, went out of his house yesterday morning in search of work.

A few hours later locals spotted his body in the field and informed the police, said Sadikur Rahman, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Islampur Police Station.
