Ex-member of Army killed in Nilphamari road accident

A former member of the Bangladesh Army was killed in a road accident in Nilphamari's Kishoreganj yesterday night. 

The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam Rafiq (48), a former army member, said Abdul Awal, officer-in-charge of Kishoreganj Police Station. 

Rafiq was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a microbus coming from the opposite direction at Chowdhury Bazar area on his way from Borovita Bazar to Ronchandi village around 8:00pm. 

He died while undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
