Electrician electrocuted

An electrician of Palli Bidyut Samity under Choumohony sub-centre was electrocuted in Choumohony bazar area under Dupchanchia upazila of the district on Friday evening.

The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 35, son of Azgar Ali of Moksedpur village under Sherpur upazila.

Deputy General Manager of the Dupchanchia office of the Samity Abdur Rahim said the victim was repairing a disconnected line when he touched a live wire. He was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
