Elderly man electrocuted

A man was electrocuted while his son sustained serious injuries at Satarpara village in Trishal upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased was identified as Mustafa Kamal, 70, a farmer of Satarpara village. Quoting local people, Mohammad Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Trishal Police Station, said Mustafa came in contact with live electric wire while he along with his son Kabir Hossain, 30, was preparing a seedbed for aman paddy at Satarpara around 11:00am.
