Doctor dies of Covid-19 at Khulna Medical College Hospital

A doctor has died of coronavirus at Khulna Medical College Hospital.

Deceased Matiar Rahman was sub-assistant community medical officer at Bagachara Health Centre under Sharsha Upazila Health Complex, our Benapole correspondent reports.

Dr Matiar was diagnosed with Covid-19 on August 20 and had been receiving treatment from his home, said Dr Yusuf, a physician of Sharsha Upazila Health Complex.

He was admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital after he started to suffer from breathing problems, the physician said.

Sharsha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Pulak Kumar Mondol said he was buried at his family graveyard today.
