Day labourer electrocuted

A day labourer was electrocuted at Nashratpur village in Dhunat upazila of the district on Tuesday. The deceased is Amir Hossain, 55, of Dheruahati village in the upazila. Police said Amir came in contact with a live electric wire when he was cutting the branches of a tree in the area. He died on the spot.
