Create awareness about TB

Speakers at a workshop here yesterday laid special emphasis upon creating massive awareness among the common people about the symptoms and dangers of tuberculosis.

The workshop on awareness about 'symptoms and dangers of TB and how to control it' was held at the auditorium of Chandpur Shahitya Academy with National Anti-Tuberculosis Association Bangladesh (NATAB) of Chandpur unit President Prof Ahsanuzzaman in the chair.

They also stressed on how to control the TB through DOTS ( Directly Observed Treatment Short Course / DOTS) System. 

NATAB, Chandpur district unit, organised the programme.

Chandpur TB Clinic and Hospital's Consultant Dr Nusrat Begum  was  present as the chief guest on the occasion.
