Bus strike called off

An indefinite strike, enforced by bus operators in the district on Monday, was called off yesterday, said Superintendent of Police Suvash Chandra Saha. The strike was called off following a 'fruitful' meeting with police administration on Tuesday. On Monday morning, the strike was called following a clash between Jhalakathi and Barisal Rupatoli Bus Sramik unions.
