Bullet from own gun kills Ansar

An Ansar member was killed by a bullet fired accidentally from his own gun while performing duty at a polling centre in Bisharkandi union under Banaripara upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased, Alamin, 35, was on duty at Mogarbari polling centre. Golam Rahman, officer-in-charge of Banaripara Police Station, said Alamin received a bullet triggered accidentally from his gun while performing duty at the centre around 10:00am and died on the spot.
