Boy dies in hornet attack

A minor boy was killed and four others were injured in an attack by a swarm of hornets in Atrai upazila of Naogaon yesterday. The deceased was Sadique Hossain, 8, son of Md Khorshed Ali of Baka village. The injured are Jesmin Akter, 8, Ilma Begum, 6, Mousumi Akhter, 28, and his brother Ohidur Rahman, 35, of the area. Locals said the hornets attacked the children when they were playing. Moushumi and Ohidur came under the attack when they came forward to rescue the children. Sadique later died at a hospital.
